I am a self-taught artist. I grew up in Yakima, Wa.  My mother, a full-blooded Athabascan Indian, was the very first artist I knew.  She always had something going on in her lap: beading, knitting, quilting or sewing parkas.

I live in Southern California.  I am married to a man who goes on all my treasure hunting trips.  I am a proud mom of 4.

There is a long list of what I do:  a printmaker, painter, pendant creator, assemblage artist and hobbyist film maker.

I love to revamp stuff.  I am inspired by the nature that surrounds me in our small rural town and the desert.   More and more, my work has a story, sometimes apparent in the title, and sometimes just apparent to me.  I am forever learning new techniques, changing my hair and driving my family crazy.
